Back in the B-52 days, we always had to recite the mantra - "Safety is paramount." Finally, one of the higher-ups said, "Bullshit."
He continued:
"If safety was paramount, we would never step a foot inside the buff, nor would we take the thing in the air filled with bombs. Putting the bombs on target, on time, is paramount. We'll try to do this as safely as we can, but it is an unsafe operation to begin with, what with people launching missiles at you and what not." Amen.
