WISH LIST?

Been talking to some folks who say that 1. What they asked to be put on the "Wish List" is not one of the online choices of the "Wish List," or 2. They were never asked what they wanted at all. So here is an unofficial chance to let your muffled voices be heard. Crying towels, pet insurance or riding crops for Class A's. Whatever. Hit comment. You can remain anonymous, if you like. Just remember, it just isn't us reading this, so if it's something too risque - like Speedos for Water Rescue, I probably won't post it. Thanks. Let's do this thing.

Dear Bill,
Just a note from someone that knows. Your Station Reps were supposed to set up a meeting with the station and a principle officer to have input on this years 'wish list'. They were asked to tell everyone in the station of the meeting. The principle officers did meet with every station and work site to get input. This is a change from the old 'wish list' and change is hard. The Local leadership decided to try a different method. It was thought that a face to face meeting with the members would be better and on the whole it was because ideas and their merits were discussed while the list was built. This method was announced in the 'WORKER" at least twice and the station reps were told to get input from their stations.
Also, when the vote took place only 111 of the 282 voted. No one called and said my issue is this or that could it be included. It would have been had they called. Of course any input is still appreciated even now. The nego vote is advisory as the negotiations team will make the decisions about what will work, what is attainable and what is not. So if you feel the need please call your union leadership and tell us what is on your mind.
Just a note to you Bill, we have crying towels at the office, we use them all the time, but you must take a lickin' with our riding crop while dressed in your Class A first.
